![]() Using my 3/8" craftsman breaker bar and a 12 mm socket i found the top nut at the rear of the egr cooler. Make sure the vehicle is blocked up well so it won't fall on you. Thats pretty much self explanitory, its not as hard as it looks, and makes the install go much easier. Next, jack up the right side of the pickup, removed the tire and inner fender. You should be able to find the spot where the blocker plate will be installed easier now. Don't worry about removing the torx bolt on the top of the cover, just pull up on the cover and the rubber will slide over the bolt. Next remove the plastic thing that says "6.6" on it by loosening the 2 hose clamps underneath of it. The pics mostly explain themselves.įirst, i removed the intake tube by loosening the hose clamps. Hopefully this will help others with future installs. ![]() After spending much time searching for pics of installing a blocker plate in an LMM, i really didn't find anything. ![]()
